About Us

I have worked in the field of special education for over 20 years. I have a Master’s degree with a concentration in learning disabilities, behavior disorders and Attention Deficit Disorder. I am a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association as well as a Certified Educational Planner.

As I worked at the university level with students with disabilities, many of our students were transfer students that did not offer them the level of support necessary for academic success. As I began to investigate colleges for my own son with learning disabilities, I discovered I would need to do a full research of colleges and universities to find the appropriate placement for my son. As my research increased, I realized the information could be shared with other families of students with learning issues.

More and more students are entering college and schools are offering quality services. The challenge is to find the institution that best serves the needs of our students. My mission is to assist families in finding that school that best matches the student’s needs.
